And yet how can we keep such wonderful knowledge to ourselves when we know what faith in our Father can do for others? That is the rub...but gotta take the risk. I love you son, you make me so proud to be your mom, thanks!

Like Shawn, I also wonder how much of the experience I have with Christianity is skewed by the nation we live in. Christianity in the US seems to have taken quite happily to a waspy filter that's hard to see through sometimes. I think alot of that arrogance that we see in the US church is a cultural additive rather than a representation of who Christ was.

But beyond cultural, religious, and national boundaries, is the real Christ. So maybe we should find a way to spread the gospel by being like Jesus... humble... loving... teaching with metaphors... wearing cool sandals...

These are really just ideas and a bit of goofiness. Hit me up in real life for more depth.
